Why was my file banned?
Your file was banned because it has exceeded Simpload's daily hotlinking bandwidth limit (512MB/Day for anonymous users or 1024MB/Day for registered users). For a explanation of what hotlinking is, click here.

Hotlinking Bandwidth Exceeded

How can I keep this from happening?
There are several ways to prevent your file from being banned. When any image from Simpload is hotlinked to another site, its bandwith is added to a counter. When the counter detects a file that has exceeded the maximum bandwidth, then it bans it. The easiest way to prevent this from happening is to, instead of hotlinking your file, simply provide a link to the file at Simpload. This can be done by using the "Browser Fit" link types when uploading your pictures (as shown below). Another way to prevent this is by the use of thumbnails, thumbnails are a smaller versioin of your image that can be clicked to view a larger version of the image on Simpload. Thumbnails can be used by selecting the "Thumbnail" link type upon uploading (also below).
