No. Simpload may resize images that are over our size limit to fit.
Simpload also generates thumbnails and smaller representations of the image for you convenience
Filenames are only changed if they contain non-english(or special) characters, or if there are existing files with the same name. This is to insure existing files are available to everyone, and not overwritten on our server.

This smaller image is a thumbnail, which is a small representation of your image that links to the full sized image. Simpload does not alter the size of your uploaded image (unless it is bigger than 5 megapixels or if you resized it yourself), but it generated a clickable thumbnail as well.

Simpload allows unlimited bandwidth for albums and allows 6GB of hotlinked transfer per day, for free. If a free account exceeds this amount it will become frozen. For upgrades this amount is greatly increased of course.
In order to prevent getting frozen, we recommend utilizing the clickable thumbnail function as often as possible instead of hotlinking full images. Clickable thumbnails are generally small in size and do not use nearly as much bandwidth as large images. Your viewers will be able to click on the thumbnails in order to see the large images.
The most common causes of large bandwidth usage are animated gifs inside the avatar and signature section of message boards and non-thumbnailed series of large images
There are many methods to use to avoid this.

Simpload offers substantial reliability and privacy protection. Your files are available only to you and to those people with whom you share your file(s) with. Using intuitive techniques, Simpload guarantees your privacy.
Simpload also offers the ability to password protect any album to restrict access to only those individuals who you give the password.
Simpload also utilizes a proprietary internal file routing system to insure your files are safe from image leeching and for the protection of your file locations.
With our standard service accounts are frozen when the bandwidth limit(6GB/day) is reached. To fix this we suggest for you to reduce the amount of views your image recieves, make the file smaller in size, or sign up for a plan with a larger bandwidth limit.

Make sure you are using the correct link that is given to you. If you uploaded a file and it doesn't work, it may be that the server on which your image is located is temporarily down, however this is a very rare occurrence. Check to make sure your account has not reached it's bandwidth limit and the image does not violate our Terms of Service.

Most likely the URL was copied incorrectly, but the file may also have been banned for a Terms of Service violation, or be unavailable due to a frozen account.

We are glad you are taking full advantage of your Simpload account. While your account is frozen you should know that all of your albums are still fully functional, and you may login to your account and edit it at any time. Only hotlinking is disabled.
Your account will automatically unfreeze in 24 hours. If you choose to upgrade your account during this time it will be automatically unfrozen.
Usernames are restricted to number and letter combinations.
